Member Application
You can open an account for electric service simply by
visiting or calling our office. If you apply by phone, our representatives will
ask you for required information and let you know the monetary amount required
to establish service. To download an Individual Membership Application, click on
the link below.
Complete the form and return it to us. Once
you have provided us with your information a customer service representative
will contact you.

Line
Extension Application
If you are interested in
obtaining a new electric service, we encourage you to schedule a
visit to our office in Eureka. In preparation for this visit, please fill out the
Application
for Line Extension Cost Summary ahead of time.
(You will also need to fill out a New Member Application if you
join LEC, but the Line Extension Application if the first step. Please note that the legal land description of the
property where the service is to be located will be needed. You can find this description on your tax notice or
warranty deed.
You will also need to pay a
$250 engineering deposit when submitting this application. This
deposit is applied toward the project construction cost
if the service is installed within 24 months of service
application. If you
are unable to schedule an office visit, you may mail the
application and survey fee to our office, but please include the
name of the person who we should contact to schedule a site
visit to the property.

partnership, political body or non-profit group, or have questions about the
application process, contact our new
accounts representative for more information.
For existing locations, we provide service as quickly as
possible. For a new home or business that has never had electricity, we
encourage you to contact us as far in advance as possible. This will allow our
Engineering and Operations Department enough time for proper service preparation
and prevent unnecessary delays.
