Program Summary
In an effort to reduce electrical consumption and to help our members to save money on their electric bills, Lincoln Electric Cooperative and Bonneville Power Administration have jointly developed a commercial lighting rebate program for both new commercial construction and commercial retrofit applications.
When certain fixtures and/or bulbs are replaced with more efficient ones, or high efficiency fixtures and lamps are installed in a new commercial building, you may be eligible for a rebate that will help to offset the cost of the change-out or installation. In most cases the rebate will cover a sizable portion of the initial cost. In addition, the overall wattage reduction may mean a considerable savings on your monthly electric bill.
The process is fairly simple but certain requirements do have to be met.
In a nutshell, the most important points are as follows:

Retrofits or New Commercial Construction lighting must be installed in a commercial business served by Lincoln Electric Cooperative.

For all retrofit applications, an overall wattage reduction of at least 30% must be achieved. For all
retrofit applications Lincoln Electric will pay the lesser of 70% of the actual project cost, or the per fixture rebate total as calculated on the Lighting Rebate Verification Report.

All measures installed must be on the
New Commercial Lighting Incentives and Verification Form for new construction, or the
Commercial Lighting Retrofit Incentives and Verification Form for all lighting retrofits. Links to these forms can be found below.

You or your lighting supplier must fill out the
Lighting Rebate Application
Form, and the appropriate Incentives and Verification Form noted above.
Your rebate must be pre-approved by Lincoln Electric Cooperative prior to the measures being installed.
After work is completed, submit the following so we can process your rebate:
- Equipment purchase orders or invoices and subcontractor invoices
- Cut sheets for any high performance equipment
