Power Outages

What to Do When the Lights Go Out!

Power outages are often caused by natural problems such as trees falling on the line, ice buildup and mechanical problems with transmission and distribution lines. Outages are also caused by accidents involving our power poles or overhead lines and dig-ins of our underground lines due to construction activities.

In this section, we provide information you can use to make sure you're prepared if the lights go out.
